Yeah I was surprised at the negative reaction as I found it super entertaining for what it was.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Yup. If you expect a great, award worthy film, this isn't it.
But it's entertaining, kind of quirky, and I was impressed with the visuals. Also, gangster orcs are the best orcs.

How can you not love a movie with quotes like this: “We're gonna titty- bar gunfight die.”

Loved it. I think it punched way above it's weight. David Ayer makes entertaining movies.
It reminded me of Shadowrun, if anyone remembers that, from my secret nerd past.

Man, I loved the Shadowrun concept. The gaming system, meh, but this will pretty much seal it that I will look this up on netflix.tonkadtx wrote: ↑Sun Dec 31, 2017 2:40 pm Loved it. I think it punched way above it's weight. David Ayer makes entertaining movies.

Did I see the same movie?? I thought it sucked. Fell asleep the first time I tried to watch it. Managed to finish but was hoping for so much more.

Same here. Tried watching it with the wife. Thought it was absolute garbage and turned it off.Cave Canem wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2018 6:32 pm Did I see the same movie?? I thought it sucked. Fell asleep the first time I tried to watch it. Managed to finish but was hoping for so much more.
I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.
