Trump Deutsche Bank Loans
Allegedly co-signed... by Russian oligarchs. If true, it’s starting to get a little silly.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Oh sure, and I suppose these oligarchs are close to Putin and that's why our President has this inexplicable affection the man. Fake News! Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Re: Trump Deutsche Bank Loans
How so? If it was a deal where the Russians pledged their capital and he only put up his 'expertise' on a deal that didn't work out-- they lost money and he's ok. If they both made money-- it's a good deal for both sides. Am I missing something?Grandpa's Spells wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 2:18 am Allegedly co-signed... by Russian oligarchs. Yes. No bank was lending to DT. Too many bankruptcies. But Deutche did. Why? One unconfirmed report is that loan apps the bank may now nave to turn over will show that oligarchs close to Putin cosigned those loans. Note that this is a single unconfirmed report.

Which gives them a nice writeoff-- not a horrible downside.

Which has already been looked at by Treasury for possible money laundering by the Russians, and Mueller for political influence peddling. Neither side found offenses worthy of prosecuting.seeahill wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 9:54 am Yes. No bank was lending to DT. Too many bankruptcies. But Deutche did. Why? Isn't this starting to seem a little like the 90's? Remember when Ken Starr was investigating every Arkansas homicide desperately hoping to find Hillary's fingerprints on the murder weapon?

Holding my breath and waiting for any kind of evidence whatsoever other than the lowing of the lesbian kommissars of MSNBC.

It'll be interesting. Trump's attorneys are demanding a retraction, suggesting they don't view the accusation as very legal and very cool.

Re: Trump Deutsche Bank Loans
Well if there's evidence, I and probably a lot of other people, would like to see it. But hurling accusations isn't journalism and I couldn't help but note that NYT, WaPo, BBC, etc. haven't touched this story.

Re: Trump Deutsche Bank Loans
Last night I made an error in judgment by reporting an item about the president’s finances that didn’t go through our rigorous verification and standards process. I shouldn’t have reported it and I was wrong to discuss it on the air. I will address the issue on my show tonight.

He should pull a Trump and double down on the bullshit. NEVER ADMIT YOUR LIE. Say you've got good people working on it, and what they are finding is incredible. Good people. Great people. You won't believe what they are finding.

Re: Trump Deutsche Bank Loans
You guys really need to stop watching MSNBC. It's Pravda. All major news outlets should be viewed with extreme caution. We are in the post-journalistic phase of public life, where what presents itself as "news" is propaganda and information warfare. That is true of all sides at all times.

He did, fren. He never said he was wrong. He never said he made something up. He never said he lied.
This is the only reason he even issued a retraction: https://www.documentcloud.org/documents ... ocument/p1

Re: Trump Deutsche Bank Loans
https://freebeacon.com/politics/nbc-new ... ia-report/MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell issued an on-air clarification Tuesday after making shocking claims about President Donald Trump's ties to Russian oligarchs that had not been vetted by NBC News.
In response to a Democrat-controlled House committee subpoena, Deutsche Bank revealed Tuesday that it was in possession of tax returns "related to" Trump or his immediate family. While the partially redacted filings did not specify whose tax returns the bank possessed, O'Donnell opened The Last Word by claiming they were President Trump's, based on "what one source close to Deutsche Bank has revealed to me."[...]
MSNBC booking producer Michael Del Moro tweeted the following morning that not only has O'Donnell never seen the relevant documents, neither has his source.
Hard to be both dumb and dumber, but O'Donnell pulled it off perfectly.

Spells, you don't understand WHAT IS AT STAKE HERE
If Donald Trump isn’t re-elected in 2020, says Bakker, Christians will be murdered.
“I’m going to say something I probably shouldn’t say,” he added. “What’s coming next, if we keep losing, you’re going to see the leaders of the church and the leaders of the gospel and the political conservative leaders that are powerful, you are going to see them suddenly die, suddenly killed — suddenly as they were driving, suddenly as they were in a boat, suddenly in an airplane — you’re going to see it one after another.”
