Re: Great live performances
I didn’t know there was a Hank 3, much less one playing punk music. Pretty cool.

Also, it's too long to embed here, but check out the last show of 10,000 Maniacs before Natalie left. It's magical.

Re: Great live performances
That is the best live version of a song I think I've ever heard. The intro, acoustic middle, full band. Guitarist is rocking it.

Yeah I only discovered it by chance. Intro is very Dave Gilmour-ish - clearly influenced. Never really paid any attention to them before, just one of those songs I’ve always known

I’d never heard of this guy until I stumbled onto him on YouTube. Insanely good guitar player.

A friend just introduced me to the indigo girls. Crazy musicianship. Love them.

My wife knows one of the Indigo Girls who moved into our neighborhood a couple years ago so her kid could go to the school where she teaches. About as un-pretentious as you could ever imagine an artist being. Great person and just wants to be another one of the parents at the school. Even comes to sing at some of the little gatherings that *had* for the kids every week.
I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.

My friend who introduced me to them (not literally) met them at some event in Toronto many many years back. Says they were two of the nicest, most down to earth people she had ever met. She was just a teen and they took time to talk to her, took her seriously, etc.
She started me off with "Ghost" which is a great song. I love their craftmanship, lyrics, etc. Great stuff.

My big problem with Khruangbin is that when I think about listening to them, I can't spell the name of the band and they aren't popular enough for google to be able to help me out. Thanks for posting that, great set.
