Wii Fit

Fun little toy, the balance board gives some interesting feedback, especially with their little yoga bits.
It also is nice and distracting from the 'actually getting exercise' so maybe some of the couch potato video gamers will actually loose some lard.

Re: "30 Days of Night"

Seconded on this movie, I liked it. It's 'Night of the Living Dead' meets 'The Thing', and is one of the few horror movies that succeeds because of the vampires. As GDG said, the vampires are totally unsympathetic, what background is given on them is just enough to explain WHY they're doing what the...

The situation where the guy went nuts? Sure, it was reasonable, I probably would have flipped.

But taking this beautiful, amazing, sci-fi story and inflicting it with a naked Freddy Kruger wannabe when you have other McGuffins? It's lazy and lame and heartbreaking.

Re: Sunshine

this movie sucked, god it sucked.
it broke my scifi lovin' heart.

There was so much going on, why did they have to turn it into a shitty slasher flick.
Don't see it, save yourself the Netflix rental.

I got up to 'Wizard in Glass' and lost steam, might go back to them someday when I have time. The first two are great though.

I didn't care for it, I really liked the set up and the beginning but felt like they used too many cheap tricks to drag it out. Definitely worth a Netflix, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Better, "Gravity's Rainbow"
A screaming thing comes across the sky. It's a V-2 rocket carrying twelve thousand pounds of symbolism, and it's coming down on your poor, deluded, postmodern head.

I'm investing in kegging equipment later this year, and already know how to force carbonate once I have the gear.

Well the extracts have a piece of paper in it with instructions, it's real simple. Just google "Old Fashioned Soda Extracts". I got mine from Northern Brewer where I order my grain and sundry fermenting goodies from.

Old Fashioned Soda Extracts

Picked up a bottle of their Sarsaparilla extract on a whim when I was ordering my last batch of beer parts (because I'm 30 going on 90 when it comes to my taste in sweets it seems.) I followed their recipe and the result tastes good but is pretty flat. Next time I'll try it with ale yeast instead of...
