Re: Moon (spoiler alert, don't read or it'll fuck it up for
The plot inconsistencies were too annoying for me to get much put of it. The company could develop a robot that was sophisiticated enough to have conversations and arguments - but they had to use a human for transferring cargo from harvester to freighter? The company was wholly concerned with saving...

Re: The couch thread
Why does this person have a 45 pound weight on one side of the bar and a 55 on the other? Strange loading there, even if they've got other weights on it that we cant see in the pic.

Watchmen
It'll be sad to see the watchmen get raped by HollyWood. Has anyone here been satisfied by any comic's adaptation to cinema? http://www.irongarmx.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=197818&p=279959&hilit=watchmen#p279959 I saw it yesterday, no need to worry everyone - Watchmen is awesome. :p...

Re: The couch thread
A touchdown victory dance will consist of one guy doing a handstand while another overhead squats PVC pipe and blows the other guy whilst me holds the handstand. The actual football will only weigh 1 ounce and will be filled with helium so they can get in some real metabolic work tossing it around ...

I finally looked that the indoboard clip, stupidest thing i have ever seen - no contest. How many Oly or kb coaches reccomend jerking the body around in an unstable manner during their lifts? I realise that they've been brainwashed into following 'the hard automatically = productive" mindset, b...

Re: The couch thread
From Tyler "Anal Ring Man" Hass' interview with Couch. If you come to us with a four-minute mile, six months into it you are going to be 30 seconds slower but a whole hell of a lot fitter. Similarly, if you come to us with a 900-pound squat, in six months it's going to be 750 pounds, but ...

Re: Scott Sonnon - Prasara Yoga A Series Instruction DVD
I bought the "Prasara Yoga Book + Prasara Instructional DVD + Prasara 2DVD set", my complaint is that the a series dvd uses the footage from the "prasara 2dvd set" to show how they are done. If i'd known about the dupliaction of footage I would have saved $35 and just bought the ...

Actually, now I think of it they probably won't. At first I thought about the obsessive nutriding of the cult leaders and the neet for cultfitters to belong - thus requiring them to attack their splinter groups to protect their little ego's. What I'd forgotten though, is the whole "the wod isn'...

Re: Spyderco Chinook3
Tom, I know what you mean re the weaknesses of the gunting, more an idealist's approach that would likely leave the 'defender' open to accusations of escalating a non lethal scenario into a lethal one. That's why I was suprised when you call it Keating's design, he reccomends lethal force as a last ...

Re: Spyderco Chinook3
I thought the gunting was done by Bram Frank due to the full name of the knife and the pressure point syllabus he endorsed at the time. Why would Keating design it then let it be taken over by another - or do you mean it was copied?

I've never handled one, though I understand it's James Keating's design - rather than just being something he endorses.
