Re: Nutribullet Thead: ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
I saw Royler Gracie make a watermelon/banana/CREAM CHEESE smoothie in one of the Metamoris 3 trailers, and that vision has inspired me to work some cream cheese into my NutriBlast [tm] game. I'll let y'all know. Spinach/pineapple/banana/cream cheese made for a disappointingly bad NB. The remainder ...

Re: Nutribullet Thead: ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
Are you trying to tell me that you don't have a shaker cup thing for protein shakes? I have a pair of questions: 1) how do you mix up a quick protein shake without breaking out the stick blender/NB, and 2) how do people at the office know that you work out unless you roam the halls with a shaker cup...

Re: Nutribullet Thead: ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
Passed up a super cold sugar free Red Bull in the fridge in favor of a NB (spinach, clementine, banana, apple slices). Gonna don the sweat pants and head out into a frigid garage gym. I expect to pull successive PRs.

Re: 1911 .45 query....
I have a Para 1445 with an arched mainspring housing and I've shot that thing a ton (single stack 1911s with the flat mainspring housing actually feel weird to me). The funniest thing about the 1911 is the fact that its immediate predecessor as a service pistol was the Colt SAA. The 1911 must've see...

Re: Nutribullet
2. It's not as much fruit as you might think. The big jar is probably 32 oz., and the MAX FILL marking is around 24 oz. You fill up 1/2 of the MAX FILL volume with greens, 1/2 (or a little more) with fruit, and then fill to the max line with good old H2O. If I'm putting banana, apple, and mango in a...

Re: Nutribullet
I think you dudes should go buy and chop up a whole pineapple, and feed the resultant chunks into your Nutribullet’s hungry maw. A whole pineapple is $2.00 down here in Tejas, compared to like $3.50-4.00 for a little ass container of chopped pineapple. Pineapple, banana, spinach, _________, is a pre...

Re: Looking for a new knife
I think that a small knife/multitool/flashlight/firearm that will actually be carried is a better choice than a bigger knife/multitool/flashlight/firearm that stays at home, or in a backpack, or in the car, because it's too big, too heavy, takes up too much space in the pocket, etc. I like knives li...

Re: Nutribullet
1) Green stuff, a banana, a clementine (sm. orange), some frozen mango pieces, and almonds is a good NutriBlast [tm]. Even though using almond milk (in lieu of water) is a cheater's shortcut to a satisfying 'Blast, I think that almonds are an honorable thing to include. Oranges and almonds seem to b...

Re: Kumare, on netflix
Well this thread got uncomfortable in a hurry. I thought Kumare was really good. Kumare became a guru, whether he will admit to it or not. (Religious upbringing, religious studies in school, sought out and learned from teachers both here and in India, etc..)

Re: Nutribullet
Keep those tongs for when you get a Nutribullet. I bet you could make some righteous marinade (mar-ih-NAHD like gym-NAST) with a Nutribullet. Make marinade in the 'Bullet, grill it on a BGE, wash it down with a beer from the beer snobs thread. Uh, then do farmer's walks and BJJ, I guess.

Re: Nutribullet
Dudes, if half the container contains tamped down spinach, then I AIN'T EATING A SALAD WITH DINNER. I've eaten probably 300+ salads a year for the past however many years -- seven? eight? -- and if I have two handfuls of spinach in a NutriBlast, then that crap's in my stomach, so it counts, so I am ...

I think about making Nutriblasts all day long now. I wish I were making one right now. Starts so leafy, so chunky; it gets so smooth! Can't you just see the almonds, or orange wedges, and clear water fading into green?

Count me as another Nutribullet sale directly attributable to this here thread. I think I'm up to 2 IGX points on the day, since I also used a foam roller this morning. Oh, I wagged my head at a positive reference to @F on a different message board too, so I guess that might be 3 points so far.

Re: what's the matter with you, baffled?
He was terrible. Steve Smoger knows what he's doing. The guy, whose name I'm blanking on at the moment, who refereed the Alvarado-Rios fight on Saturday is good. I actually commented to the Missus on the ref's good footwork and positioning during the Alvrado-Rios fight. Smoger will let guys take a ...

Re: Concrete Conflict and Conditioning (Tom Furman DVD)
I just ordered Concrete Conflict from a KB website -- that is, not directly from Tom -- and the DVD I received was a DVD-R with an adhesive label. Did I just buy a bootleg copy of this DVD? Let me know, and I'll order a legit copy from Tom post-haste and let him know where I bought the DVD-R version.

Re: Big green egg
Yo SAR let the smoke clean up for a while before you start putting food on there. Did you use those compressed sawdust square things? If those were still smoking, they would've made your food taste funky. Let those burn out (takes about 11 mins), and then shut the egg, WTFO bottom and no cap, and le...

Re: Big green egg
Large BGE is the default size and is useful for grilling and smoking. Not so big as the XL (with its crazy fuel requirements) much larger than the SM or the seemingly useless MED. Get a SM if you want to add a second. If you're new to slow-n-low type cooking, just remember to leave the thing alone o...
