I have been playing with one of these for the past couple days. The unit is overpriced, but well made. It comes with a video for basics then another one which is a seminar setting. After you view it, you can get creative.
Bad-
You cannot really do dips since the anchor is one strap vs two on rings
The buckles therefore can scratch the arms despite the warning to do the exercise with wider elbows.
Good-
Very simple device limited only to your imagination. GREAT for planks, pushups, Bulgarians (jumping as well), Pistols (jumping as well), rowing motions, dipping motions, and lots of leg curl motions. You can do tricep and bicep as well. Another variation is to walk your arms back into a handstand pushup position and work the delts and chest.
The plank and abdominal work are highly effective to say the least.
The price is too high though. I guess they are counting the DVD and booklets they give you. This device with DVD's should be around 60 bucks for the military package. It is 149 to 199.

yeah, I'd say that a webbing version of Blast Straps plus a foot loop at the bottom of each handle would be more versatile. Here's one homebrew webbing version:

About 1/3 of the way down. Shen & Co. added dip handles partway down so you don't have to adjust up and down for pushups vs. dips.
GDG!

Tom... I agree
it is overpriced as are most things. But, I don't have the problem that you mention doing dips. I attach my system to a pullup bar in the door way and I face sideways toward the jam. The buckles touch just below the shoulders and even without a t-shirt they don't seem to scratch.

"Fraser Quelch" has got to be the coolest name for a personal trainer EVER.
