The Four Horsemen

Post by Shafpocalypse Now »

For all you poor sons of a bitches who didn't spend the early 90s listening to live music. My gift to you.

The Four Horsemen were the hard rockin', cock blockin', shit talkin' bastard step-sons of AC/DC and the Allman Brothers...but that wasn't all they were. Gritty, bluesy, twangy, and, pre-SubPop and Grunge.

They got lost somewhere in the cracks.

I saw these cats several times, and they blew the roof off.

Voivod rocks and I saw them live back in the early 90s when Soundgarden and Faith No More opened up for them. It was a great show.

Very true as that was their Pink Floyed wannabe album and the end of a band. Actually their new stuff with Jason Newstead is not bad.
