The Dark Tower 1 -The Gunslinger by Stephen King

Post by DARTH »

I allways put checking out these books on the back burner, but my best Bud Crom gave me a copy last night and I stayed up all night reading it, could not put it down.

I am getting book 2 this week.

The Dark Tower series is his best work, and provides an underlying structure for many of his other stories. There are some cheesey moments later on, but overall a great read.

Fantastic series. I got through the 3rd one and now I think I will start from the beginning and read the whole series. He's got a comic based on this now. Looks pretty badass.

I got up to 'Wizard in Glass' and lost steam, might go back to them someday when I have time. The first two are great though.

About 10 pages from finishing Wolves of the Calla, already read Drawing of the Three, The Waste Lands and Wizard in the Glass.

So far this is the American "Lord of the Rings."

You dont need Swords and Elves when you have Gunslingers. :axe:

A full reveiw of the series by the end of the month. :die:
