Great book. Writer embedded with the Cambridge crew as they train 7 months for the 159th yearly 4+ mile race with Oxford. 2 olympians, a world champion and various national team members, mostly grad students at Cambridge, make up the team. Very much like Brad Lewis' Assault on Lake Casitas, a must read, but more literary. Lot's of Bellow quotes. Cool look inside real "elite" athletes training and lives.
