I'm still not *100%* convinced that one of them is not, somehow, connected to the whole thing. I'm sort of hoping one of them is, because it ought to make for a bang-up ending to the season...

MY wife is thinking that they're both going to get their tickets punched tonight. Looking forward to seeing how they're going to tie it up. Then I'm going to re-watch the whole thing on demand to see what clues I missed throughout the season.

I think it's goingto be a simple straightforward ending with some crazy ass shit preceding it

The visions—there were times that I was convinced that I’d lost it. There were other times I thought I was mainlining the secret truth of the universe.

I liked it. Some are complaining it was too 'conventional,' but it was still pretty damn weird in terms of the Errol character, and obviously Rust had some 'issues,' so it was all good.

Looking forward to Season 2, which the writer described as something like "hard women and the dark underbelly of the US transportation system" which holds a lot of possibilities, but it is sure going to be difficult to live up to the job McConaughey and Harrelson did.

I was wrong.

Mild disappointment. Outstanding overall series but I needed it to sting a little more.

I didn't find it shocking, or horrific, or even really creepy, but the next day I found myself dwelling on it, which is unusual for me with regard to TV shows.

Same for me. The last scene has stayed with me.

I liked it, but this is still bothering me:

I really thought Marty's ultra-conservative in-law was one of them and, somehow, Marty's daughter had seen one of the ritual crimes.

Notice the fat/pregnant illustration has 'flowers' on it. The retarded sister wanted her brother to make 'flowers' with her

My favorite part about TD was how far down the rabbit hole people were going in terms of trying to solve the crime themselves and unlock secrets of the cult.
Not sure what, if anything, all of this stuff means but its cool as hell.

Edit: I'm hoping there are some extras in the box set that address all of these coincidences (if that's what they are). Then again, maybe there won't be b/c it all ties in with some greater story arc.

Watched this a couple weeks ago. Awesome. Will re-watch.
I actually enjoyed the Lethal-Weaponesque buddy-cop movie ending.
Only problem I had was the fact that the ringleader for an intricate child abduction/sacrifice ring, with rich and powerful members, is a half-retarded inbred lawnboy. Or maybe the story isn't over...
