10 Cloverfield Lane

Post by nafod »

Dropped daughter off to see Zootopia with her buds, and I went and saw this, knowing the wife has no interest. Timing was right, it had good reviews, and I wanted a bucket of popcorn.

Good movie. John Goodman is great fun to watch, and the female star, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, was perfect. Just three characters, so small movie too. Ending is unusual.

It's a solid flick. I liked it, but found I had more questions than answers at the end.

goodman was fantastic in it

I liked it a lot. Goodman provided an excellent mix of creepy and funny.

The ending is odd. It somehow felt like a separate movie bit still seemed to fit.

I got the DVD for Christmas and watched it last night. Very good, very suspenseful without anything over the top contrived. As noted above, excellent acting. Surprising ending, not bad.

A surprise? You guys remember that movie Cloverfield?

Ramona Flowers is great in everything.
