Now that I have been baptized in the cooling, healing liquid of a NutriBlast, I have seen the light. I'm reading every post of this thread with a new appreciative eye.

I dream about my next Blast. I wish I were pulverizing some veggie concoction in there right now. Very eager to try Turd's protein powder idea.

Everyone must get a bullet. It is the one true way.

Go to a halal or indian market for the turmeric. Cheap that way, expensive otherwise.

And I think The Torch of the Nutribullet thread has been passed to Turd. We're in good hands, provided he washes well after he wipes.

Just broke down and bought one.

last week was 5x5 easy at 275 on close grip bench. I assume next week should be just one plate jump to 365 for 5x5?

I wouldn't set your expectations that high. But you should buy a new wardrobe and case of rubbers.

Any suggestions for a place to buy this? Retail seems a bit steep for me.

New recipe:

A boatload of raw spinach, 3-4 tablespoons canned pumpkin (not the sugared up pie filling-just plain pumpkin), protein powder, almond milk and a couple of shakes of pumpkin pie spice.

Phenomenal.

I feel like I'm cheating when I use almond milk. It gives everything a milkshake taste and consistency.

Is it as much fun as when you forget to properly tighten the lid of a protein shaker?

No, mate. Not on this one. But I have made a few concoctions that were challenging. The kale/flax seed combo I whipped up yesterday scraped out pretty much everything contained in my intestines. But spinach is so far relatively mild.

Our coffee grinder died. But no worries, THE NUTRIBULLET has stepped-in and stepped up to be the ultimate coffee grinder, too. I go about 3/4 dark roasted Guatemalan beans and 1/4 Italian Espresso beans (both from Costco) and bullet to a fine grind (mere seconds). A couple of heaping tablespoons of coffee to about 20oz of near-boiling water and 1 tablespoon of sugar Stir and let sit for 5 min. Strain into a funnel with a slightly dampened coffee filter, pour over ice with a drop of heavy cream. Beats the snot out of iced fru fru fancy pants drinks and makes a fine sippin drink during workouts. Made 'cold press' style without sugar/cream and let sit overnite in the fridge and then strain grains works very well, too.

They now have a "pro 900" version. I'm thinking of getting it as my foray into this

I wonder what that thing can do given that the 'regular' NUTRIBULLET can just about create its own wormhole to other dimensions with its awesome power.

Bux. Your point is valid. The value I find with this is that I struggle to have time for a good breakfast. This thing efficiently gets greens, a bit of fruit, allows me to easily intake things like chia, flax, maca, cinnamon or whatever in a convenient drink on my way to work. And while I bet some don't enjoy it, I like the taste.

Now I see one in my kitchen. Apparently I hit a hot button.
