Free Dungeons and Dragons material

Post by Bram »

I've played a few hours here and there over the past year, and had some pretty good times with friends. Since I've been socially distant/doing it online we've been using the Discord app to handle the voice chat, and a website called roll20.net to handle the dice rolling, maps, and so on.

Right now, the company behind it is putting out a bunch of free adventures, basic rule sets, coloring books for kids, etc.

Cool. My kids have been doing this with their friends online as well.

I haven't played since I was a little kid but I will always have a soft spot for D&D.

I played a lot of d&d back in the day.

Last year I read the Gary Gygax biography Empire of Imagination. He was an interesting character.

He invented the game, and then got thrown out of the company in the eighties. The American dream!
