Amazing photos of what America used to be.
Funny that the fat dude was a truck driver. Sitting on your ass all day has always expanded the waist line.

I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.

The kodachrome transparencies are amazingly clear. And there may be one or two chubbies, but not obese people.

Shouldn't these be WWII stock photos? When was OHSA established - violations ALL AROUND.
1). the lack of fatties
2). people used to dress pretty fine. I stumbled across a similar set from NYC around the 1920s or 1930s and the guy sleeping on the bench was looking better than people look in Monday morning meetings nowadays.
Old pictures from the US always leave me with two observations:Fat Cat wrote:The kodachrome transparencies are amazingly clear. And there may be one or two chubbies, but not obese people.

My dad always tells me about his grandad who apparently always wore a shirt and tie, even when he demolished houses.
I dress much better in the fall and winter.
Cool pics.

There were some that we're long in the tooth, but all the ones under 40 or so all looked ok to me. Granted, I'm not bred from aristocratic eastern European stock, so...Kraj 2.0 wrote:Why were women so damn ugly back in the day? They all got that Polish kike look to them.
