Santorum is so tone deaf it's not funny. He sticks his foot in his mouth and alienates people on a regular basis, creating controversies when he shouldn't. He's already got the crazies on the religious right. Saying you want to shut down internet porn is not going to gain any new supporters, is going to piss off about half of his current supporters, and ensure anyone on the fence stays the hell away.
Romney should be thankful Santorum stuck around to deflate Newt's sails.
