I'm finishing up 45 CE credits now. Just did a 3 credit course on Caring For Patients With Alzheimer's Disease. Now I know what to tell my caregiver how to take care of me but I can't remember. I started another course on how to care for the caregiver. I'm writing a note to tell her to go to the library to find out what to do. Hope I'll be able to remember where I put the note.

"Where is a Rubio?" was always an odd favorite of mine as it was the 123# Andrey challenging the 240# FREIGHTTRAIN in GS with h32's. Doughboy was critical in creating that, and just about every other melee back then--I kinda sorta took over but as a mere and small shadow in that little cheesehead's footsteps of internet induced kettledrama. We should make a FSF shrine to him for his kettlesnark alone.Shapecharge wrote:And don't forget my personal fav, "this is obviously."
And I believe "of coarse" is his too but maybe Dylna did that one. For sure, "propain tank" is Dylna's.

Sorry, free speech rights do not obligate anybody to protect your feelings or make them want to talk to you. You write what you want, people respond how they wish, however harsh it may be, if that's what floats their boat.Terry B. wrote:Though this site may have initially been a free speech site, I feel that it would be possible to challenge that assertion as still being valid. Sorry, being able to type "fuck" or "nigger" doesn't make speech free, it makes speech hateful and counterproductive to producing any meaningful dialogue outside of others with similar opinions validating one's own views.
You don't see Seeahill complaining because the best review his books get is "levels coffee tables adequately", do you?
No, he went out there and targeted the coffee-table-leveling market relentlessly! You just need to find the demographic that most often wants to respond to you. It appears to mainly consist of Proto.

Jack was a riot.
I always imagined Jack as Dale Dribble in real life.
Some of the stuff he was obsessed was awesome. He was a porn posting machine; so much so, I'm convinced he didn't have a job or not a very demanding one.
Who can forget the coon porn incident? That sit got us thrown off of the Microsoft message boards. This was around the same time as the all the Nazi jokes and S (remeber S?) were being posted. I was at the RKC when that shit hit the fan. Steve Cotter and a bunch of people got talked to about IGx.
Back to Jack, He used to PM me questions about guns and was amazed I'd was willing to be nice to him and answer his questions. If you ask me, he had some social development issues. He could never just fit in. iGx seemed to take over his life and sense of self worth.

If 03 was a A+, 04 was a C.
I met Jack in 03 and he was a bit nerdy but was a good guy and I liked him in RL. He was an exterminator but he was sick of it and like a few of us he gave the KB bizz a shot, so he had some balls considering what it was like to attract clients in the old days.
Besides Mike Mahler, who I knew very well by then I hit it off with Jack, Cotter and Morrison alot. Rob L came off like a bit of a stuck up egg head and our personality types are very different but he had great taste in musci and we got along at the GS Nationals where Jeek was accussed of Peeking and Pavel was a dick to Andy. (ANdy and I got along great and judged at the same table when Cate Imes kicked ass and Doughboy blew his wad.
Now you see the shit in Wal-Mart and I know a bunch of articles and news stories about people fucking themselves up with KB's is coming and I will capitialize on the "One of the first pro KB instructors and not some opertunistic Personal Trainer or attention whore fitness celeb. Time to do it right or don;t do it at all." thing.
I also look back and I know I fell into the chest beating promotion alot of us did back then.

Went back in the summer as an assistant instructor. Pissed off Dragon Denny when I failed to show up the day before, to help set up. I was out on the town getting shit faced with Steve Cotter and making fun of the Ryan Lee and Bud Jefferies.
To this day I still laugh over the drunk'n shit that was said. Bud Jefferies mentioned he had a couple of MMA fights under his belt and how he ended them quickly. Steve asked him if his opponent had a pork chop tied around his neck.

I can't recall if it was june, july or august of 04 when I was an Asst?
Who did you asist? Were you in the meeting when I brough up that there was alot more talking instead of doing and Jones gave his lame excuss for all the long winded lecture about technique with less doing the techniques?
I swear we learned more in 03 than they did when I asisted in 04 even though there was more running of the mouth.
This was the one where I met Nappy Hill and his wife. I think he was trying to figure if I was an asshole OK or fucked? I could tell he was a cop once by how he was looking at me at dinner with Lisa Shaffer.
This was alos the one where I had a client from Va. there and he was very "effiminate" and I think this former SF NCO, who was cool and chatting me up the first day was stand offish the next. " I bet this guy thinks I'm a fag?"
What was I suppossed to do? tell a client who never came out he was to fuck off and don't hang around me at the RKC? He was a decent guy.
Bud Jeffries was there as well, doing Get ups with Martone's wife.

I went to the RKC before that but met you guys for dinner that weekend you reference. In my RKC group, led by Brett, was me, IRONTAMER, Fireman Tom, GDG! and Jim M who co-owns one of the better X@ facilities on the east coast. Cotter and Morrison were anointed as SRKC's at the cert I went to, which was pretty good, I thought.DARTH wrote:
