I bet if I tried, I could come up with a lot more D's than R's. If limited to the last 30 years, I'd be hard pressed to come up with one useful R, but there wouldn't be many D's either.

O'Bama's neither good nor a Democrat. His position on all issues is 'progress' toward the undefined, and 'change' from something vague to something else. Having nothing upon which to be nailed down, he's the perfect 2010s pol: can't alienate anyone predisposed to vote for him.

it's actually easy, if you can flush the newthink. What is a Democrat? What do they believe in and do that distinguishes them as Democrats, and from non-Democrats? Is Obama one of those?

It's all air, from what I see, and he has no discernable values. Therefore, he cannot be a Democrat. A class has defining characteristics, he has none.
