Having said that, I ride a motorcycle. Never without a helmet, though. If you do, you're kind of dumb. I can't tell you how many times a little pebble has been kicked up and knocked me in the helmet.

I find it ironic that a lot of the same people that dress their kids in helmets and pads to ride a bicycle at maybe 10mph, with a lawn to fall on, are the same people that want to not wear a helmet at 70mph and nothing but concrete or asphalt to fall on.

I live in MI and I am ok with not requiring helmets, freedom of choice and all. I just wish the bill included enforcement of noise ordinances on some of those damn bikes. Loud pipes don't save lives, they just piss people off.
