My last pair of Tevas are done. Is Teva crap now like everything else?

Bought a few pairs of Tevas about 10 years ago. The last one is done. Need some new sandals I can hike (not insane terrain) and jog in. I am assuming Teva is now crap like everything else that used to be good.

Any other brands?

Teva is still pretty good.
Try a pair of Keens if you haven't.

Tevas dont fit me well anymore. I got a pair of Chacos and those are great.

Ordered some Keen H20s and Teva Terra Fis.

Aussie Luke those sandals look great but I've never worn ones with the strap running that way. Always had the strap across the instep. I've put a lot of miles in running with sandals. But I'm a Van Aaken guy and just cruise around the neighborhood etc. I doubt I'd run in them if I were going to push it. I have hiked somewhat aggressively in them but not on High desert loose gravel type ascents more the forest.

You would fit right in where we used to live in the PNW. You were pretty much issued a pair of sandals with thick wool socks and a green Subaru Outback when you moved in.

Been wearing the Keens. I like. Sturdier. The toe is weird. Could be even better once the stiffish sole gets broken in.

Yeah, the toe cap on Keens can be a little weird. But I like it for a hiking sandal because it prevents stubbing on the odd root or rock. I don't even notice it anymore.

XeroShoes have a good reputation though I haven't tried them myself.

You can get a few brands of flip flops better than the sandals that used to be used a decade ago.

Xero Ztreks were on sale deeply discounted and I got some. They are a great, minimalist sandal, but not sure I would run in them because I'm fucking fattttttttt
