She faces a departmental trial on charges that she's "psychologically unfit" to be a police officer.
Psychologically fit to be a cop would have involved jumping in and kicking the guy they were supposed to be helping while he was down.

Who the hell does she think she is?
Lesbians are apparently 'psychologically unfit' to be cops.

That should teach the little fucker to smoke pot.

Chong ended up in DEA custody when he was rounded up with eight other people in a drug raid on April 21 at someone else's home where he had spent the night after smoking marijuana with friends, Yoo said.

The DEA said seven others arrested with Chong were booked into jail and an eighth was released. The agency said it also seized large quantities of various drugs, three firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition.

Yoo said her client was cleared of any wrongdoing and agents told him they were putting him in a holding cell for just a minute before driving him home. That was early on April 21, a Saturday. He remained locked up alone until Wednesday.

Afterward, he ended up hospitalized for five days, the first three of which he spent in intensive care, suffering from severe dehydration, muscle deterioration, hallucinations, kidney failure and extremely high levels of sodium, his lawyer said.

They seized 18000 pills, threw him in a cell where, for some reason, there was meth or some shit, and then left him for days.

I feel like it's not the whole story, but if it's 1/10 true, it's fucked beyond comprehension.

There is never an excusse LEGALLY to put a man in a cell for 5 days in just foget him like that. If we did that to a Jawa and it got out this would be 10 times the story it is (And in that case I'd give not a fuck)

Where is this poor guy's beer summit? Oh that's right, he's asian so Obama has no dog in that fight. (He'd eat it.)

Where is Harry Reid and Nacy Pelosi screaming about the DEA being out of control and commiting criminal actions like they have laid at our own Troops when Jawas got treated a little rough?

This guy deserves millions , right out of the DEA and DOJ budget. They agent who locked him in should face criminal charges and his ASAC and SAC should both be fired.

Indeed. No way that it is entirely true though.

Another Christian set to burn in hell
A pastor and volunteer sheriff’s chaplain exposed himself to a former church member after showing up at her home in a long orange skirt and telling her he’d lost a bet, officials allege.

The Rev. Robert C. Christian, 61, turned himself into the Spokane County Jail Friday and was released. He faces a misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure in Spokane Municipal Court.

Christian, who has been fired as a chaplain, initially denied the allegations when questioned by lead sheriff’s chaplain Curt Quaschnick after a police report was filed in March, according to court documents obtained Monday.

But the pastor changed his story in an interview with Spokane police detectives and said if the woman “said I exposed myself to her, then it happened,” according to the documents, which were prepared by Spokane police.

Christian spent 13 years in law enforcement in Ohio before leading his first church in 1989, his wife, Sandy Christian, told police. Sandy Christian directed a reporter’s questions to defense lawyer Gloria Ochoa, who was not available late Monday.

Police began investigating Robert Christian in March after a 72-year-old woman and former member of the Heritage Congregational Church on 29th Avenue, where Christian is senior pastor, said Christian showed up at her home in the skirt unannounced Feb. 27.

The woman, who lives alone, said Christian said he’d lost a bet and had to wear a skirt for the day, according to court documents. The woman invited Christian in and he asked to use the bathroom. He emerged from the room after an extended period and sat down at the dining room table for coffee. It was then the woman saw Christian’s erect penis sticking out the front of the button-up skirt, police allege.

Simple solution: Just don't get hurt.
Doctors prescribed a Texas woman a strong narcotic after she shattered her knee in Haiti. And then . . .

“They gave me a pretty high, heavy duty narcotic, Norco, as a painkiller going forward and I had used that up. It had been a month and I had called for my refill,” Lenhart said.

"Still on crutches and unable to drive, a friend of Lenhart’s, drove her to a CVS Pharmacy in Oak Cliff.
She wasn’t able to pick up her prescription because a police officer arrived to pick her up.

“He was like ‘we need to go outside,’” she said. “I was on crutches and I had a permanent IV line in my arm. I had a big leg brace. I asked him if it was necessary and he said yes and he rather policingly escorted me out the front door and into the back of a waiting patrol car.”

Lenhart was so stunned, she didn’t think to ask the officer questions. The officer explained to her what was going on.

“He said, ‘Well we believe that you have forged your pain pill prescription and we are calling your doctor now. But I’ve worked with this pharmacist a number of times and he’s never made a mistake,” Lenhart said.

The officer then took her the Dallas County jail, where she remained overnight. After she was released on bond, she was charged with obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, a felony.

“I couldn’t go back to work until HR had received the paperwork that this was a mistake from my attorney,” she said.

Dallas police later dropped the charges after speaking with Lenhart’s doctor.

Here's another guy I knew. Not my buddy, but a very close friend of a mutual friend.

http://www.nypdangels.com/cop/cop.php?id=45

Here is what his daughter posted on the above site when she was 16:

Im Kerry McDonald, Sean A. McDonald's daughter. I am 16 years old now and i have been thinking a lot lately. I miss my daddy terribly. My name was picked by this man. This man is the reason i am living. I never got to know him well, being only 18 months old when he passed. That doesnt mean i dont love him with every inch of my heart. Its a few days from that painful day, but i will hold my chin up high as i tell people of his story. Not only have i heard, but i know that he was a great man. I cant really say much concidering i barelly knew him. Well, i know he is in a happy place now looking down on my Mother, my Brother, and myself

I was 'on the job' maybe a couple of months when I was detailed to be on security for the wake of this family. Every one of them, children and all, were open casket:

http://www.nytimes.com/1993/05/05/nyreg ... all&src=pm

My friend was one of the first cops on scene in the apartment after the flames went out. He slipped, fell on his ass.....what he slipped on was a pool of child's blood. Officer Friendly deals with some shit now and again.....

Honestly, this thread is all good. The D-bag ratio in law enforcement IS higher than most other professions (except lawyers, of course). With that said, each and every one of you cop haters would love to know officer friendly is around when Jerome and Tyrone are ripping the panties off of one of your loved one's fat ass. Officer Friendly is far more likely to step-up in the face of grave danger to help the absolute stranger.

I wish I had your faith but let's get real, the chances of LEO being there to protect my family before protecting someone else's money are right near absolute zero. The police perform a valuable public service. So do janitors.

I don't understand the 'someone else's money' comment. And you're right, unfortunately, the cops are usually there after the fact (through no fault of their's typically).

I had chosen to avoid this thread since I've walked the walk, albeit way back when. The raise your BP thread got me going down memory lane for better or worse. I just saw 9 pages of garbage activity by cops posted by the folks who hate them and know for a fact that most guys who put on a gunbelt and shield are some of the best people I have ever known and have demonstrated far more 'give a shit' towards most people that the Limo Liberals wouldn't toss a dime to. While I've seen a couple of acts that border on cowardice, I've seen many more acts of bravery that are never talked about, let alone rewarded.

Officer Friendly has chronic night sweats for good reasons.

This is the security footage of the beating of the homeless man, Kelly Thomas, by Officer Friendly.

It gets pretty graphic. You can hear him screaming at one point that he can't breathe. That's probably as his trachea is being crushed.

I don't understand the issues with dealing with the mentally ill, especially when they are known to the department. We had the regular few and a couple were seriously dangerous. You may have to use force to get them under control but that was takedowns and control not beating them with a flashlight. You get them into custody, you don't treat them like animals that need to be put down.

I hope these motherfuckers do hard time.
