Re: Presidential Election 2016 (was "Debates")
The latest revelation doesn't really do much more than remind people about Hillary's email server. Unless the FBI quickly discovers that half of the emails deal with Hillary's appetite for the flesh of newborn children, the worst realistic outcome of this for the Clinton camp is that Huma may fall on her sword to make it go away. And by "fall on her sword", I mean accept a well-paid job with the Clinton Foundation instead of following Hillary to the White House.

If the Clintons don't have something left in their oppo research drawer, they are way dumber than i thought.nafod wrote:The whole "use a private server to keep emails to myself" never made sense, since they are EMAILS that get sent to lots of people across the internets. But idiots are more careful than this.
Those emails will be echoing around the internet for as long as there is an internet. Via wireless, they are on their way to Alpha Centauri as I type.
They live in a mess of their own creation, for sure.I'm hoping for the mother-grope to come forward. It's only fair. They should have saved the chowhound Miss Universe a few more weeks. This will be a bloody week.

Re: Presidential Election 2016 (was "Debates")
Two different subjects. My point is the flat out idiocy of having so many incriminating docs and statements in writing about ignoring subpoenas and taking cash, let alone having an unclass server that you send classified info upon. Mind boggling. I saw some real cases of security lapses in the Navy, but nothing even in the same solar system as this. Then to allow Huma to build a "Lifesaver" File is incredible.Grandpa's Spells wrote:You're picking the weirdest time to make this post. Stunning.
Yes, the FBI found emails during an unrelated investigation of Weiner's Weiner pix, and yes they had to get a Warrant. Comey, because he previously chose to stay out of the election and give Hilliary a pass, upon this discovery either had to do what he did or let it wait until after the election. No good choice there.
In the end this goes back to a bad choice by Hilliary to have her own server. Good luck with that.

In a week one of these disasters will be on their way to becoming president.
Should Hillary prevail, Obama will, of course, pardon her for everything she's ever done so the Repugs probably can't even get the impeachment machine properly warmed up.
Who knows what madness the Dems will come up with if Trump ends up on top.
Either way, vaya con dios America. You'll be missed.

What kind of person would share a computer with Anthony Weiner? I would look for a quill pen and sheets of parchment before I would type a password into his laptop.

I don't think you preemptively pardon someone who hasn't been arrested, charged, or convicted. None of that will occur before January 20.DrDonkeyLove wrote: Should Hillary prevail, Obama will, of course, pardon her for everything she's ever done so the Repugs probably can't even get the impeachment machine properly warmed up.

Assume for a moment that that a vicious cabal of democracy hating white male congressional repugs are trying to invalidate the will of the people and our founding fathers by endlessly tying up faithful public servant Hillary with a myriad of partisan investigations that hamper her from doing the people's business and threatening her ability to "protect us" internationally.
Why not pardon her before she takes office if you love America like Obama does? It's for the people.

One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

I don't believe that Caspar Weinberger was arrested or charged in Iran Contra. Bush gave him a pardon.

Ohhhh, an insane strawman. Here's a hint, preemptively pardoning isn't going to stop political troubles and grandstanding.
Weinberger was indicted and headed to trial.

Should Hillary win, won't it be time for the country to "move on" again?President Bush yesterday pardoned former defense secretary Caspar W. Weinberger and five other former government officials involved in the Iran-contra affair because "it was time for the country to move on."
Thank you for calling me one of the more astute political minds in the last 50 years. It was very kind of you.

It will, actually. I have absolutely zero interest in the republicans spending all of their efforts trying to undermine an HRC presidency. The voters held their noses and mumbled. Maybe they should try governing for a change. How'd this work out in 2009?DrDonkeyLove wrote:Should Hillary win, won't it be time for the country to "move on" again?

I'll repeat it - I'm genuinely curious the extent to which someone like you is batshit insane and either ignorant or stupid, or trolling because that's what is done.
I call it the Ann Coulter Paradox - a series of statements or beliefs so bizarre no reasonable person could believe them... but scant evidence that the actor is a reasonable person to start with.

Re: Presidential Election 2016 (was "Debates")
Schumer picked Wiener as his replacement in Congress when he moved to the Senate. Clinton followed him to the Senate. Weiner married Abedin. Clinton became SoS. Schumer picked Gillibrand to take her Senate seat. Gillibrand went from a conservative democrat pro gun rep who slept with a rifle under the bed to an anti gun lapdog liberal dem puppet of Chuckie. Wiener stepped down in 2011 only when Schumer told him to. And now Schumer stands to become Senate Majority Leader, thanks in part to his Wall Street largesse.dead man walking wrote:as ugly as a trump marriage, or a gingrich marriage, or a giuliani marriage. or a clinton marriage. The Ginger Beard Man wrote:Some marriage.dead man walking wrote:his wife?Pinky wrote:What kind of person would share a computer with Anthony Weiner?

The only question I have is, who arranged the marriage between Chelsea and the nephew of George Soros.
I've never been married (and hopefully my fiancé won't realize how much better she can do before April), and I wouldn't judge a marriage between any two normal people.
But we're talking about people who arrange alliances through marriage like the royal families of old Europe, and Schumer is Queen Fucking Victoria.
