Saudi Arabia vs Russia
Saudi Arabia is bombing the shit out of Yemen. Somehow it is not making first page news of protracted TV reports. The degree of the attacks dwarfs air strikes against IS, the Air Force of Yemen is apparently completely annihilated, yet there are no cries about the invasion of the sovereign state or killing of innocent civilians. Russia agains Ukraine, on the other hand, is a different thing altogether.
Did I forget to mention that USA supports Saudis in this business? It means that Yemen is being fucked up for the better good, freedom and democracy. Let's try guess who will get Nobel Prize for Peace next year.

You are waaaayyy behind the curve comrade.
BO threw over the Saudi's for Iran.
Proxy war Iran v Saudi.
And the US press will not cover anything that makes BO look incompetent.

I think it's because the Jews are the gatekeepers of all mainstream media and the Saudis are tight with the Israelis so the press and TV don't make this a moral or political thing. They just report it "as is" and leave it at that.

Re: Saudi Arabia vs Russia
Except the American Media Mogul types want Israel kaput and Saudi is a key Israel ally.
And there is almost no coverage of the Middle East in the American media.
But just wait, this deal with Iran will go through and we will start hearing about how the Sunni are scum etc etc etc

Russia bombed the shit out of Chechnya with nary a peep from the rest of civilization. There's your analogy.Smet wrote:Saudi Arabia is bombing the shit out of Yemen. Somehow it is not making first page news of protracted TV reports.

Turd, it doesn't really matter. What happens in Yemen is an internal conflict, and Saudis interference is the violation of the international law. Which, of course, is a farce. And of course, I know (everybody does) that this is the American proxy war against Iran. Neither is it a secret that that Saudis are behind ISIS.
My point is not about the war in Yemen, but about the illusion of the freedom of speech in USA and the rest of the "free world". Money talks and walks, in Russia, USA, Latvia or Egypt. All the same. And the lack of coverage of the war in Chechnya supports my point: the pie was too small for the US to get the finger into.

Are you saying the governments are censoring stories about bombing Yemen?Smet wrote:.

It took me half a second to get a story on it.

Actually it doesSmet wrote:Turd, it doesn't really matter.
Calm down Alex Jones. Not everything that happens in the region is about Iran to America; not even close to everything. It's a lot more complicated than that.Smet wrote:What happens in Yemen is an internal conflict, and Saudis interference is the violation of the international law. Which, of course, is a farce. Some Saudis or the Saudis? It matters.Smet wrote:Neither is it a secret that that Saudis are behind ISIS.

Naffed, I suspect you know my answer, but let me spell it for you anyway. Honestly, did you know about Yemen bombing before my post? There is no need to censor anything, you can just keep quiet about it. Or distort the information. Most people get the news from newspaper and TV, the amount being directly proportionate to the volume of coverage. And no, there is no censorship, you generally don't censor yourself.nafod wrote:Are you saying the governments are censoring stories about bombing Yemen?Smet wrote:.

Turd, I learned about the bombing of Yemen from an Arabic colleague of mine who has relatives in Yemen. And, err, when USA gets behind air strikes in another country it does mean that it is about America. Though it is more complicated than that.

Re: Saudi Arabia vs Russia
I knew the Saudis were doing this a day or two ago. Also, the Saudis and Egyptians are talking about putting troops on the ground to support the Yemeni government, now that US special forces are supposedly no longer on the ground.
What this demonstrates is the fact that US foreign policy is inconsistent and the Middle East a bigger shit show than ever.
If we are fighting a proxy war against Iran in Yemen, why are flying air support for the Iranian army in Tikrit?
There isn't any suppression of this in the media. It's just that nobody in this country knows what the fuck we are doing, or should be doing, in the Middle East.

I spent a year in Djibouti, a few miles from Yemen. It got a lot of our attention back then. It is the wild, Wild West, like Somalia, the Pakistan tribal lands, some Phillipine islands, and almost Mexico. It is not the Ukraine. It is a barely glued together bunch of tribes.Smet wrote:Naffed, I suspect you know my answer, but let me spell it for you anyway. Honestly, did you know about Yemen bombing before my post? Re: Saudi Arabia vs Russia
I heard about this repeatedly from mainstream news sources prior to your post, Smet. You don't know what you're ranting about.
And the idea that Saudi Arabia bombing Yemen (or anyone doing anything in Yemen) is as newsworthy as Russia occupying part of another country is absurd.

It is ludicrous that we have so many rattling sabres here about Russia flexing on it's traditional doorstep (let alone spinning the shit out of it. Most of the autrocities have been from the Ukrainian side) yet we can't get it together about smashing the Jawas.
That's what we get when we elect a half breed son of a commie cunt who lived in a Muslim country as one of them.
And Sorros's hand are all over this shit.
Yes the irony of US airpower supporting Iranian SF, while Obama has Kerry sucking Persina cock.

Nobody's saying that. Censorship in the internet age is futile. But like I said, nobody's saying that.nafod wrote:Are you saying the governments are censoring stories about bombing Yemen?
It's now all about how the media frames a story, and how they relate it, or don't relate it, to the wider Jew-led narrative.
Re: Saudi Arabia vs Russia
NPR has been censoring this story by cleverly hiding it in the middle of the news broadcasts, every day.

Re: Saudi Arabia vs Russia
I think the most interesting thing about this is that Saudi Arabia is leading the charge, a clear indication of how seriously they are taking Iran’s machinations.
