Story time
A while ago I was doing a story about FARC in Colombia. Got in with the police. We went on a drug raid (remember: narco-terrorsits). Anyway, there was this one raid, and they got several guys, but they, the narco=terrosits) had to be taken back by a couple of the detectives, which left us one short of a car. Those of us still on the chase took one of the bad guy's cars. A detective was driving, but he was having a hard time with the stick shift. Stalling in out all the time. Asked could anyone drive a shift? Yep. So there I was, in Bogota, Colombia, chasing a drug dealer in another drug dealer's car. Robert Pelton, who was there and can verify, said: "is this the first time you've ever been in the front seat of a police car?" (It was).
We didn't get the guy, as I recall.

Re: Story time
Your story did not involve crossing any borders and you were in Colombia. Please try again.

How 'bout the story about getting Americans out of a disease ridden area of, of say. Malasia. (Wrong country in case this is classified in some way.) That was funny.

One time, me and my boyfriend were out at this nice steakhouse for dinner, and when he came back from the toilet, he had the toilet paper stuck to the bottom of his shoe, so it unraveled and trailed behind him through the whole restaurant. Embarrassing!
