Also good is couch mentioning how he has "published" these findings.... on the web (e.g. no statistical study).

"..I published these results on my message board"????????? That's up there with "I tweeted about running a marathon". He know has fran times on the entire starting line up of the Colts? I find it hard to believe that no video or photo show up on an actual NFL player doing @fit. World class swimmers? Who? What fighter? Lidell? Penn? It's sad how he never gets called on this bullshit

From FB pretty spot on"I guess geared PL is another "modal domain" to be swallowed into the maw that is the CF Borg. Inconsistency and hypocrisy are why I got out of that game so long ago (referring to CF, not geared PL)."

Isn't Couch's entire plan built on you never figuring out who the expert is? Jump rope, o-lift, power lift, run, kids, football, gymastics, food, KB, recovery. Biz seminar, level 2 prep, level 2, crossfit vacation... Some type of yoga, or restorative methods will be nextAffiliate Scenario: You're new but you're already growing. Lately, you're getting hit by e-mail and phone with proposals for seminars and equipment and business solutions. Some of this stuff seems cool but none of it comes from CFHQ, so how do you know what works and what's worth your money or your time? How can you tell who's really an expert and who's just trying to make a buck off you and CrossFit?

It has been rumored that affiliates are being actively "encouraged" not to host outside seminars, especially those run by certain disgruntled folks. This will likely be a nice addition to the franchise case that is probably being built by some shark somewhere.

Really? It doesn't matter which muscles are being addressed...or what weaknesses you may have in the lift?WHY on EARTH are you filling out a survey asking about isolating muscle groups in exercise?
Have you learned nothing about Functional Movement?
Deadlift is a Functional Movement used in Every Day life. By deadlifting heavy you train your body to not suck at life.
Period.
(muscle groups?.... really!)

You went right for the easy shot and did not see the other videos. Take a look at this one. When the dude packs up his little tricycle and puts it in his cart I about spit my beer on my computer screen.
After seeing this I want to start my own diet/exercise craze based around hunting down, killing and eating "primal", "paleo" "functional" people. Fuck primal. Fuck paleo. Fuck functional. This guy is first on my list. I can imagine hunting weak, underfed, skinny fagots (sorry Rant and POD) using KB's and barbells loaded with 5 kg bumper plates to defend themselves.

I'm not sure what I'm most dissapointed about:
That I didn't think of it first.
That it's execution is kind of lame.
That it doesn't pay more attention to Andro Broads.

The best part is how he waited to start taping, because he's so proud of it. That way he could show everybody how simple it is to fold it up, fill 90% of your shopping cart, and push it around for no reason. Why would you spend 1/5 the time locking it to a bike rack like some moron?Shafpocalypse Now wrote:Hey, BBub.
