By calling DJ a "coward" he has simply ended any confusion that existed after 40,000 combined hits here and at T-mag.
Fuck man, anyone with a brain could see through his shit long ago. As soon as he said CrossFit is Everything and Everything is CrossFit, I wrote him off as a egomaniac. I was right.

Dan John may be a great guy. I wouldn't know because I haven't met him, but many vouch for him so he probably is. But in any case he is not the patron saint of fitness and if people write off CrossFit solely because Dan John was insulted by Glassman they are almost as retarded as the CF'ers.

CrossFit is stupid and unsustainable over the long haul. That much is obviously. One needs no other reason to dismiss it as a viable training methodology.

Ok, I just read the post by Glassman about Dan John, and I am simply amazed. The self-control evident in Dan's responses stands in sharp contrast to Glassman's childish outburst. That Dan John can joke about "whoring himself out" when he sells an article, and then Glassman says it seriously as a contemptuous attack says all I need to know about their respective characters.

Seriously...he's going to claim Dan John is a sell-out and a coward? That's about as believable as the time he said a +700lb squatter was "weak". Guy's gotta start picking on easier targets if he wants to get away with it.

How can he not see what he's doing to himself?

Never mind. It is on the FS Forum. Why doesn't Couch spend his 10 large to finance a DL team for an AAU or other drugtested meet ? I'm sure they would clean up with all those 600 and 700lb DLs.

I can do pullups fine. Still pretty good at 'thrusters', though I don't get to do them as much as when we first got married.
Since KB are, according to Couch, a subset of CF. AND only people who do CF may have an opinion on CF, according to the moonies, THEN anyone who lifts KBs has the neccessary experience to hold an opinion(their rulles, not mine) my opinion is that Couch is a fraud and that CF sucks.

Evidence that calling your self "coach" makes you insane, as couch gets x-posted by DJ's brother:
couch wrote:Dan’s significant contributions to this community were for most of our leadership related to his charisma, charm, and humor and the values that he so openly claims and not his technical understanding of movement or his coaching prowess, so this is doubly insulting and damaging to our relationship.

LOL, they locked the thread. Pussies.

Edit: I stand corrected. It says it's locked but more posts are popping up.

I stand corrected. " Some Cunt " is now " Coach Some Cunt " .

I guess the title "coach" makes her snatch smell more.

The funny thing about Glassman is that he :

1.Thinks he's a great leader

Any idiot that cracked a leadership book knows that you never air your dirty laundry infront of others. He oboviously has never heared of the saying "Punish in private, Praise in public".

2. Thinks his dumb ass system is great for Military types.

While his work outs are interesting, there is no way a Military operator could follow those workouts. You don't the time and the equipment to put those PT session together. Contrary to internet BS, you spend way too much time in the field/ranges to use weigts, KB or other pieces of equipment efficiently. Also, your carreer would be over in a second if any of your subordinates had a visit from RHABDO or whatever.

Spec Op guys specialize in the activities that are required by the mission. A good level of GPP is needed but, it gets down to skill training like road marching, fire team drills, CQB drills at the tire house or maze, and other activities that are required by the job. On top of this there are Physical fitness test you must pass on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. You don't have spare time to fuck around with some random workout schedule.

YOU HAVE TO SPECIALIZE! Thats why you have different units within SPEC OPS. I wouldn't send a Ranger BN to do a scuba infil onto a drilling platform or beach, I wouldn't send a SEAL team to train indiginous people, I wouldn't send Airforce PJs to conduct an amphibius landing, & I would have Marines Force Recon guys to secure an airfield. Yah, they maybe able to pull it it off, but it's not their specialty.

This crazy world Glassman and his idiot follower have created for themselves is funny.

Matt Furey is at it again!
Damn Cooch,

You've got some brass balls.

I'm seriously interested in seeing if your public lashing of Dan John doesn't hurt your scam. Your public lashing of that kid Josh was good, but he's a nobody with $1,600.00. Dan on the other hand as been around a while and is actually like by some heavy hitters.

If you get away with this, it's open season on the fags at Combat conditioning. I've been meaning to tighten up the ship at my site for some time.

BTW- you never answered my question about when your Cross Fit Business Secrets book is coming out?

Your pal,

Matt

Yesterday, I read about 20, restrained, very civil and polite messages on the Crossfit WOD blog that were posted in response to the "attack" on Dan John. Just Power & Bulk guys saying Dan was, in their experience, a really good guy who gave a lot for free.

Those messages have all been deleted.

Couch did it, and says so. We also get billing with T-Nation and Dragon Door as villians, which I find flattering.

He's so al over the place in that post it's unbelievable. Unhinged, I tell ya.

BTW, I love how he drapes himself in the flag so quickly. How he alone is dispensing the true knowledges to our brave men and women in uniform, and that therefore saying soldiers doing CrossFit are making a mistake dishonors them somehow.

EDIT: BTW, replaceing the above: "overflowing with foulmouthed ignorance" with "a place where thought, civility, fairness, and decency is held in low regard" would be good.

And having IronGarm above it is redundant when it's already to the left of it.

"...that is the only path by which we will grow". WTF kinda language is that for a fitness site?

I've just received a sneak preview of Croch's next post:
