It's a utilitarian drug in many ways. Keeps you wide awake and alert and you don't need food or love and approval. So I understand its appeal in that regard.

But I still think it's completely fucking insane.

As to Ms. Keener- I do have to wonder, is her story a complete line of BS?

Living on her own at 16, in a recording studio and had a husband...? Before or after the dead fiancée?

Either her brain is still scrambled from the drugs (hey, it can linger), or she's fibbing. My jury is still out.

It would be nice to see the metrics in these studies presented at intervals throughout the study. The Tabata study showed that most gains occurred in the first 2-3 weeks, then tapered to nothing. It's still hard to believe that to enjoy the benefits of intense exercise you have to do it every week, several times per week, for time immemorial.

Took my "Little Brother" to a hockey game at Harvard a year or two ago and found the same thing. It's because putting the union to the top left doesn't make any sense spatially, if you just rotate the flag clockwise it ends up hanging incorrectly.

Oh, the Russells already reviewed that Ohio State study and declared it to be a fraud. With the help of Crossfit "chief scientist" Dr. Glassman.

Anyone who did a five minute Google of the Russells would realize quickly they're bullying charlatans who wouldn't actually be interested in discussing the research. I'm not surprised the coordinator didn't want to speak further with them.
