I guess a partial response is that Romney's money is ill-gotten gains that is partially a result of smartly playing the tax-loophole game that regular Joes can't play.

They should also be worried about what Romney has done with their money. His great success with "saving" the Olympic games in SLC was largely financed by the Federal government. And guess who paid for much of Romneycare?protobuilder wrote:I saw a blurb on Facebook that said something like, why is everyone more worried about what Romney does with his money than what Obama does with their money?
Romney is a highly accomplished panhandler who has burned through a surprising number of Federal tax dollars for someone who has not held a Federal office.

So, who is worse? The Nobel Peace Prize winner who bombed Libya, is fucking up Syria, spent almost a trillion bucks on a "stimulus", has an EPA that is running amok over the nation like a rogue elephant, is inflicting Romneycare on steroids and can scream "Racist!" if anyone objects or a lite weight version of same who can't hide behind his skin color and will be hated by both sides for behaving like Obama - from one side because he won't be doing enough and from the other side because he's doing it at all?Pinky wrote:They should also be worried about what Romney has done with their money. We're discussing "Vanity Fair" articles here? What's next? You all going to review Richard Simmons Workout videos in the Training Forum?Fat Cat wrote:For all Mitt Romney’s touting of his business record, when it comes to his own money the Republican nominee is remarkably shy about disclosing numbers and investments. Nicholas Shaxson delves into the murky world of offshore finance, revealing loopholes that allow the very wealthy to skirt tax laws, and investigating just how much of Romney’s fortune (with $30 million in Bain Capital funds in the Cayman Islands alone?) looks pretty strange for a presidential candidate.

I'm sorry, I'll try to find something more proletarian. After my spa.

Nah. BTW, you don't capitalize adjectives and nouns. It makes you look uneducated.Gene wrote:Try "something more Masculine" instead, Makena. Don't try to find it at the Spa either.Fat Cat wrote:I'm sorry, I'll try to find something more proletarian. After my spa.
