After 1945 nuclear arms were never again officially used. They kept the peace in Europe for how many decades? Why are weapons ALWAYS associated with "violence" especially if they deter violence? On a smaller scale guns can deter violent crime.

Agreed. I lived in Yuma, AZ for 2.5 years and just north of Austin, TX for 3 years. Overall, both were very nice places to live in the late 20th Century....I'm sure the Mexican drug cartels have spiked the crime stats in those states.

I think that would explain a lot if Southern murders were carried out en masse by pissed off rednecks, or disgruntled Southern dandies. As it were, most of the rapes and murders that take place in and around Memphis, Jackson, Little Rock, Birmingham, and Atlanta are the drug and stupidity fueled escapades of everyone's favorite group of knuckle dragging, sub-human retards...namely, niggers.
