Nivea Sensitive Skin shaving cream
Post by Shafpocalypse Now »
This shit is great. Completely eliminated my razor burn from when I used the Gillette Fusion Gel.
Best shaving cream I've ever used.

I took a good hard look at the URL tag at the bottom of the screen before I clicked that one. Pinky is not to be trusted.Pinky wrote:Their aftershave balm is good, but I prefer this stuff applied with a brush to their shaving cream.

I'd love to learn how to use a straight razor, but think that it's overall a bad idea.

au contraire, Bald Dude. It's easy to learn with one of the ones that takes disposable single-edge blades. Only a narrow edge of blade sticks out, so it's really hard to cut your throat from ear to ear by accident.Shaf wrote:I'd love to learn how to use a straight razor, but think that it's overall a bad idea.
Start by learning to shave your sideburn area, since it's probably flatter than the rest of your face. Then move on to other parts. The trickiest bits are right under your nose and under your jawline. It's all about controlling the angle of attack.
You're all on your own when it comes to shaving your sack, though.

If you're going to get into a scrap, it's best not to shave for a few days so you can grind your whiskers into their eye sockets. That's all I have to offer this thread.

I used to play rugby unshaven for that very reason. You could mess the opposing prop and hooker up in the scrum with a rough beard.

Well, Bill, I'll buy the $2.49 bottle of Nivea, which leaves me with no razor burn, over the $50 metrosexual A2M Logistics package.

BTW, I use this stuff but underestimated the amount of lather that needs to be formed. Getting the texture of lather correct makes a still-better shave.Pinky wrote:Their aftershave balm is good, but I prefer this stuff applied with a brush to their shaving cream.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.
