DVD review - Dan John's From the Ground Up

Post by Trip »

Dan John is one of my favorite coaches and his 2nd DVD is for those wishing to learn the Olympic lifts. DJ focuses a great deal on the important matter of setting up to address the bar for the snatch and clean. He includes a lot of good tips tries to demystify these lifts. Filmed outside using members of his family it includes a lot of typical DJ corniness. My one complaint is that the jerk is not mentioned at all. I do like the Litvanov (sp?) - OSH or FRSQ followed by a sprint or sled pull - gonna be trying these soon. Good overall resource for beginners.

Dan John's latest DVD is all three of his DVDs...his newest one is "Everything Over My Head"

I think Dave Draper has it, and so does NorCal S&C
