Lipton Green Tea To Go...

Post by aptdwler »

I decided to give this stuff a try. I've been trying to cut back on my soda intake. I tried crystal light, with limited success. This green tea stuff is suppose to have 80 mg of protective flavonoid antioxidants per serving. One packet has 2 servings that is for 16 to 20 oz total. I've been mixing it at around 20 oz. I like the taste. It comes in mandarin/mango, lemon/honey, and cherry. I got them on sale for $2.50 for 10 serving packets. I'm not sure of the non-sale cost.

So far, I've cut way back on soda with this stuff. As for the flavanoid, I have no clue if it is really good or not, but it's free with the packet. I also have no clue if it tastes like tea, as I've never had tea.

As of now, I give it a huge thumbs up!!

Take one 1-L polycarbonate bottle. Dangle 3 green/white/black tea bags in it. Fill with hot water to just above the bags. Stick it in the fridge.

Go do some work. Come back in ~1/2 hour, remove bags, top off with cold water. Sweeten if desired.

Quick, cheap, easy, I do it 2-3 times a day.

I like the lipton green tea in the morning. During the day I rely on Enivgamanigga.

I was raised in a fast food household. Lucky, at the time, portion sizes were small enough that I didn't become a fat slob. I do remember my Sr year in HS going to a friends house and eating my first omelet. It was awesome, but I remember watching them in amazement as they prepared it. I couldn't believe someone would go to that much work for a meal, when there was a pizza joint just down the street.

I like green tea at night, and hard earl grey in the mornings.

I find that ZMA pretty much guarantees a hard Earl in the morning.

I really dig Lipton's green tea. No difference between Lipton's stuff and the fancy pants green teas that run three times as much because they have a little Chinese dude on the packaging.

Tea is great. You throw it out and then you can drink malt liquor out of the tea cup.

For some reason the Lipton with citrus upsets my stomach. Arizona Diet Green Teas don't. They are large and tasty too. It's not green but Diet Peach Snapple is also most excellent.
