Story of how you get into and stay alive in the SAS. Selection, like Delta, basically consists of walking farther and farther with a bigger pack over rougher terrain every day until only 4 of the original 100 or so remain. Clearly spaceballs were the preferred training implement. Read it on two plane rides which went very quickly, good no brainer.

If you like this, this is also good, story of how Delta came to be, and the first selection where they walk farther and farther...... you get the picture. And they shoot like zillion rounds.

I would also recommend The One That Got Away, by Chris Ryan, one of the 3 men McNabb lost account of during their evasion. He has a very different account of some of the events, and he didn't get caught.
