Luminarc working glasses and Goodman's kitchen supplies

Post by GoDogGo! »

Luminarc makes these heavy drinking glasses sold under the name "Working glasses." They were originally intended as jelly jars, but work great as heavy everyday drinking glasses. They come in two sizes and are made of very thick glass. They have a very nice "basic retro" appearance.

these are the smaller 14 oz "short and fat" ones: Image

The cool thing is that they come with plastic lids to fit, so you can also use them for storing leftovers. Take off the lid, lay a saucer on it, and you can microwave-reheat the contents.
You can also buy extra lids; the same lids fit both the 14 and 21 oz size glasses.

We've used them for years and years, but what with the bisphenol-A news and whatnot, we decided to get some more. Also having a million different sizes of plastic tubs under the counter was making us crazy.

A place called "Goodman's" http://www.goodmans.net/ had the best price that we found online. They were great. Best price, VERY quick shipment, and good packing with air pillows so that nothing broke.

Both the Luminarc glasses and Goodman's get a big thumbs-up.
The flesh is weak, and the smell of pussy is strong like a muthafucka.

Grew up with them. They're very rugged.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

That's a good find GDG!-- That's the best price I've seen for glass kitchen bowls anywhere. $21.99 for 9 pieces is outstanding!
