Its fast as hell but its fugly. Appears to have what most of FireFox has but I have to look for it at this stage. Overall, it is interesting but not worth the download unless you have too much time on your hands.

Somewhere I read that Chrome is more-or-less deliberately ahead of its time, built for more powerful Web content that is just now starting to be used. Anyone know more about this?

If you have a lot of add-ons, especially old deprecated add-ons, you might want to uninstall them. Tools – Add-ons, scroll down the list, there should be disable/uninstall buttons.

I dumped Chrome not long after I uploaded, which was when this post first appeared. I was just comfortable with Firefox and (still) have to use Explorer for a lot of work-related websites. But I paid a revisit to Google Chrome and it's my new 'go to' browser for all non-work-related-fucking-off-on-the-interwebz.

Take another look at Chrome if you haven't in awhile.
