The Shield Series Finale
I can't imagine what's going to happen.
The last episode's confession scene demos just how good an actor Chiklis is.
This is, literally, the first time I've felt anxious about a TV show (or movie) since I was a kid. Bring it on!

Fuck, what a show.
I can't see the writers letting Vic get a pass & his entire team getting the shaft.
I'm curious if they'll have Vic take a bullet or go to prison.

Re: The Shield Series Finale
There's so much potential.
Vic: Life, death, prison?
The whole show was devoted to this smart, amoral, corrupt killer. Having it end with his death or imprisonment would be too easy to write. Same way with him getting off scott free. I'm thinking that Vic's wife dies, and he's critically injured (maybe loses use of legs) and has to take care of his kids now.
Shane: He's gotta die. Stupid fucker. He might redeem himself somehow...maybe by helping Ronnie escape.
Claudette: Her disease is going to incapacitate her.
Dutch: Kills or is killed by that psycho kid and/or his mom.
Julien....realizes his love for cock cannot be denied.
Ronnie....escape or death.
Vic: Life, death, prison?

Run, Ronnie, Run.
Claudette can die soon.
Julien eats the cawks every chance he gets.
I hope Shane gets gang raped by the blacks in prison.

Re: The Shield Series Finale
This show is killing me, and has been for weeks. I haven't been this wrapped up in a TV show - impatiently waiting for the next episode, strung along like a junkie - since I used to watch Alias and 24.
What's with all the Shane-hating? I like him, and I feel sort of bad for the dumb-ass; he makes some of the worst decisions I've ever seen, but it seems to me he's trying to do (what he thinks is) the right thing - for the most part, anyway. Now all he wants is to go away, but Vic and Ronnie have made that impossible. On the other hand, the whole Lem-killing thing is close to unforgivable ...
I've been thinking the same thing about Dutch (a character I also really like): That little psycho bastard (who also played a psycho kid in season two of Veronica Mars) is going to do him in. But really ... could they do that to him? Dutch is a very smart cop, and I'd hope he doesn't get taken by that punk. Although the mom doing him in (to protect her son) would certainly be a twist. I would agree that Claudette is going to lose her position (maybe also her job, maybe even her life) as a consequence of her illness. It's the only way they can go with it, it seems to me.
Ronnie is a guy I do not like in the least; he needs to die, that fucker. Will Vic risk his own future to warn Ronnie that he ratted him out to the Feds, and that he should run? Seems unlikely, but possible. Plus, how's Ronnie going to react to that betrayal from Vic? Actually, as I think about it - who cares? Fuck Ronnie. Or else the weaselly fucker will be the only one to escape all this ...
As for Vic - I can't begin to imagine where they'll take his character. He's nothing if not a survivor, so he may well skate, somehow. Most people might expect him to take a bullet, or wind up in prison (after all, there should be some consequences for all his actions), but this show has never shied away from doing the unexpected, so who knows. He will, of course, find out that his ex-wife betrayed him, which isn't likely to go well for either of them.
Okay, I'm done for now ...

I'm just saying - Yes, it was a very fucked-up thing, but he's been trying to make it right with the guys. Of course, it doesn't bring back Lem ...
Re: The Shield Series Finale
The series finales goes like this: Vic, Shane, Dutch meet at a little diner.
Vic slips some change in the jukebox, and "Don't Stop Believing" starts to play.
A sinister-looking guy walks past their table but nothing happens.

I wanna see Vic drive a Shell truck into the barn with all the assholes from the series in the place. Then blow the whole place up, ex wife included and somehow escapes as he whistles leaving. :-"

Re: The Shield Series Finale
Yeah, I could see him running some shit on the side to get some real cash, while working his way way into some chick's pants who runs the witness pro stuff, and then going to find the kids, before he rolls to Mexico. Could be done in less than 6 hours of screen time I would think.

You have no chance to survive make your time.
