Innov-8 X-Talon 212 trail running shoe
I received my Innov-8 X-Talon 212 yesterday so I took them for a trail run today. These shoes kick ass! They're light as a feather with the body of the shoe being like a heavy duty sock. The soles look like a baseball cleat almost. I ran up some pretty steep sections today and there was no slipping at all. I mean there was no slipping of traction or slipping around of my foot inside the shoe at all today. They were pretty comfortable too. They fit snug at first but once they were on they felt fine. Like a glove around my foot. One other thing that impressed me were the shoe strings. They've got these little rubbery grippers on them and never came untied on the run. The shoe seems very durable and of quality construction as well.
If you do any trail, x-country, mountain running or anything like that I highly recommed these shoes. Thanks for recommending them to me, Willie!

Second on what Mickey said.
I use them for trail walking and ultra light back packing.

That could be one of the worst first posts I've ever seen. Resurrecting a year and a half old product review thread with spelling and grammatical errors. Jeez.
Anywho, you ever wear your Innov-8's on a camping trip?

stosh, it's a spambot.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Just got my second pair of Inov8 Roclite 295's. Great trail runners and day hikers. Hope to try them out with a light pack on an overnight sometime this summer.

Looking to order a pair of F-Lite 203's fron Zapatos. How to these fit, true to size, big, or small?
Thans in advance.

The pair I replaced were 10.5 but Zappo's only had 11. They fit well enough, but I usually wear 10.5 in most shoes. You might want to contact Inov8's customer service. They've been pretty responsive to my inquiries.Alfred_E._Neuman wrote:Looking to order a pair of F-Lite 203's fron Zapatos. How to these fit, true to size, big, or small?

Go someplace that you can try them on before buying. They don't fit the same as other shoes, and they lace up a little differently. Sizing is consistent between styles.Alfred_E._Neuman wrote:Looking to order a pair of F-Lite 203's fron Zapatos. How to these fit, true to size, big, or small?

I use the the FlyRock. It is too light for carrying a pack. I do wear heavier trail runners to backpack.

Had a pair of x-talons for about three weeks. Great shoes. Used them on various terrains including road and they performed brilliantly.

ran a tough mudder in these.
inov8 talons are a great shoe for this- they drain water very well,
that with injini socks and no foot issues at all. The inov8 lacing
system is great- shoes stay just the right amount of tight, even when
untied and wet. They cleaned up well.

I think the only downside with Inov-8's is the toebox. If your foot is wide, expect the fit to not feel nearly as good.
