One that no one's mentioned is The Great Escape. I stop and watch part of that movie every time I see it.

Yes forgot about that one, I do the same thing.

Any zombie movie, which was already mentioned
The Bourne series
Pretty much any chop socky movie from the 70's or early 80's, or at least part of them
Disaster movies like Earthquake, The Towering inferno. Not Titanic tho, that was gay :vom:
Das Boot
Battle of the Bulge
The Phantasm movies.

Animal House. At one point, in college, watched it 27 times in 28 days.
Bourne movies, too. Is there anyone on Igx who doesn't like them?

I keep meaning to add a list on here: zombie movies, old horror or scifi in general, blah blah. But it really comes down to almost any action or horror or sf made in the 70's or before, and a few after that.

There's something about films being made today, and it's not just the CGI and other effects. I think it's focus groups and trying to appeal to all demographics. There's a sameness and a deadness to the vast majority of studio films being made today. I'd rather watch some 70's B-movie crap where I get the feeling that the writer and director weren't on a real short leash.

Usual Suspects
Big Lebowski
Reservoir Dogs

Seen those perhaps 30 times each. (80+ for Reservoir Dogs.) I am glad to quote them liberally in daily life. People love a move quoter.

Off the top of my head:

Can watch again and again and again:
Big Lebowski
Feast 1
... of the Dead series
Taken
Evil Dead series
Anchorman
Superbad
Half Baked
Harold&Kumar go to White Castle

Good, but just once:
Misery

Never watching again, because they are horrible:
Battlefield Baseball
Feast 2

Those are, I think, the only two movies I really had to force myself to sit through.

Lots here that I'd watch several times. Add Unforgiven.

Movies I liked the first time but wouldn't watch/didn't like a 2nd time.

Saving Private Ryan - too grisly/depressing
Taken - Pretty meh once the surprise factor is taken out of the things he does
Terminator 2 - God I want to drown that kid
O Brother Where Art Thou
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Hell no! If you take away the first 10 minutes and the last 5, it's pretty much some bad-ass, cold blooded guy ruthlessly kicking terrorist-ass.
