Wow! Just watched this. This DVD renders, Beast Skills Pistol Tutorial, Pavel's Naked Warrior, Crossfit's instructional clips, and even Steve's Pistol article obsolete.
The workouts combine pistols, one legged exercise variations, chinese martial arts skills, flexibility, balance, strength, and many fresh ideas. It's stuff you know, but put together by Steve Cotter. When you decide your days under a squat rack are over, it's time to pickup this DVD and add some leg size (yes, the volume and circuits in this DVD will do it!), strength, and flexibility.. Steve does every workout and talks you through the variations. You could even do these on an Arctic base in a small room with a chair and some simple equipment..
I really liked the DVD. Steve's presentation is very good. Shihan/Groundfighter has the same scrim in the background with those cheap uplights, but that is a professional stagehand like me being picky. This DVD should be on everyones training program as their sole leg workout if they are not married to the squat rack for Powerlifting or Olympic Lifting.. Who cares if you did the Russian Squat Routine. You could do pistols in a foreign prison and stay in tip top shape with this DVD. Steve has singled a pistol with two 88 pound kettlebells. If you are a big gutted lifter with plenty of ink,, duplicate the task and do your own DVD,, otherwise,, this one rules.
5 out of 5 stars. Great going Steve!
