Up -vs- Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs 3D

Post by nafod »

Took the midgets to see Ice Age. The 3D visuals are fantastic, amazing, etc. I also took them to see Up in 3D a few weeks ago.

Ice Age: Story is middling, and if you hadn't seen the first one (or two?) then you'll feel like you are missing something, which was my case. But there were some OK one liners and funny stuff. The kids loved it. The real reason to see it in the theatre is for the 3D. Very, very nice. Amazing animation. Take your kids to see it.

Up: A great movie, wistful opening, very innovative story. Definitely a story for adults too. Don't need to see it in 3D, but should see it on a big screen. Pixar folks definitely put the story up front. Take your kids to see it.
Don’t believe everything you think.

One of the bennies of being a father to young children is you get to see some great entertainment.

Ice Age, the original was awesome.
Madigascar 1 & 2, King Julian is like my eldest.
Mighty B! Amy Polher is better as a cartoon.
The Wiggles- You'll catch yourself humming yearas later.
Sponge Bob Square Pants- I wish they had that shit when I did drugs.
