Buddy Lee's Rope Master Jump Rope
A really good rope if you take care of it. After about a year of occasionally dropping it on rubber matting, the plastic handles began to crack around the Patented Swivel Bearing System. Some electrical tape temporarily prevented further cracking, but eventually the Patented Swivel Bearing System broke free.

Re: Buddy Lee's Rope Master Jump Rope
My old school leather Everlast rope lasted me for 13 years of fairly consistent use.
My BOA2000 is going on 5 years and doing very well. It took me several months to be able to use the BOA as well as the old leather rope.

I've never been happy with leather ropes. I'll probably go back to a cheap speed rope like this or something similar.

I've got a BOA that I like along with 3 LifeLine jump ropes that I like a lot as well. The LL ropes are a speed rope, a 1# rope and a 1.5 # rope that I got with my Scrapper Conditioning BW package. I've had them for years.
Re: Buddy Lee's Rope Master Jump Rope
the plain old lifeline speed ropes that come free with their other products are the shit.
?
Re: Buddy Lee's Rope Master Jump Rope
There were a lot of problems with the rope posted over at crossfit.
I made mine, easy to make, I've had no problems. But they would be easy to fix if I did...

Re: Buddy Lee's Rope Master Jump Rope
Nice work man... I'm content with spending six bucks annually on cheap plastic speed ropes from Big 5 and Target for now. I'll probably look in to something heavier in the future though.
