Feldenkrais
Anyone read any of Moshe Feldenkrais' books? I was thinking of The Potent Self or The Elusive Obvious

I read his book on judo.

Nothing outrageous, but it's not bad.

I read "Practical Self Defense." I may have a pdf somewhere.

Re: Feldenkrais
I read "The Elusive Obvious" after a room mate in college introduced me to a couple of the basic "awareness through movement" exercises, which I quite liked. Good writer, subtle thinker, but it's not stuff that will directly inspire change, any more than when I struggled my way through Whitehead's "Process and Reality".
I'd recommend with getting one of the books or videos that teach some of the exercises. Good for stress reduction and for directly demonstrating (in a practical way) how to apply what he was trying to teach. Supposedly the "hands on" approach used by Feldenkrais body workers works on a deeper level than the exercises and lessons, but I've never been to a Feldenkrais bodyworker, so I couldn't say.
FWIW, I played around with ATM for years, but Bikram yoga made a much, much bigger difference in my ability to feel comfortable and happy in my body (and in stress reduction) but the tinfoil hat/Cult like aspect of its devotees might put some people off. Not to mention sweating your balls of for 90 minutes in 105 degree heat.
