Valleys of Neptune (Hendrix)

Post by ab g-d »

First single from the new Hendrix album that comes out next month is up on itunes today. Amazing.

Unlike most musicians at the time, Hendrix owned his studio, Electric Ladyland, and lived right down the street in the Village. Since he didn't pay for studio time he spent hours, sometimes days in there recording. We already know he played every instrument. All the legal rangling has been worked out and I read that there is enough really finished stuff for them to release 2 albums a year for the next 10 years.

Issues of integrity aside, the idea that there will be new Hendrix albums to fuel workouts for the next ten years makes me very happy.

I will get this.

Also, I must say that I commend your restraint in not mentioning the TRX in this post. Kudos.
