Moon (spoiler alert, don't read or it'll fuck it up for you)
Thoughts? I dug it once it got going. Interesting twist on the "clone" angle. Sam Rockwell is an excellent actor.

I liked it a lot.
It's very similar to Herbert's Destination:Void. (With some Silent Running mixed in.)

Loved it. Felt like a classic ep of the Twilight Zone.

Truly one of the best observations on the human experience I've seen in a while. It would be utterly staggering to realize that not only will you never realize the happiness you've been looking forward to your entire episodic existence, but that it never existed for you in the first place. There are a few moments in the film where Rockwell's character deals with the gravity of these realizations, and each was well acted - the company's set up effectively robbed the clones of every ounce of what it is to be human, except of course for the parts necessary to realize this. Simple self-awareness is necessarily contemporaneous with the greatest kind of emotional loss. The genius behind writing a script that manipulates our notions of human identity in this fashion is impressive. Very Vonnegutesque.

This was very good and what Brock said. I will say again, Sam Rockwell is a great actor.
Has anyone seen Lawn Dogs? Small indie flick that Rockwell did a great job in. I liked it.

The plot inconsistencies were too annoying for me to get much put of it.
The company could develop a robot that was sophisiticated enough to have conversations and arguments - but they had to use a human for transferring cargo from harvester to freighter?
The company was wholly concerned with saving money and keeping its operations secret - yet they installed giant signal blocking towers instead of just rigging the radios on the station to not work?
