This fascinating film follows the two protagonists on their collision course in Ibiza in late 2009. Terry B's struggle with maintaining his health in the face of his HIV+ diagnosis leads him to consider anabolic steroids, while Protobuilder's fascination and dread of the virus leads him to become a bug chaser.

Filming in assorted glorious locations like Michigan City, IN and Flint, MI, the cinematic quality leaves you breathless. Terry's scene in the crackhouse reveals a psychopathic depth previously unsuspected, while viewers may shed a tear at Proto's pathos-inducing confessions to a priest in downtown Naperville.

The film leaves the viewer with more questions than answers. Does Proto ever get HIV? Taking over one hundred positive loads of the virus and remaining HIV- still remain a record amongst the bugchaser community. Was Terry and Proto's climatic meeting over red wine and grilled fish on Ibiza's western shore the only thing they did together? Did Terry really strangle then sodomize that small dog?

Some movies should be watched. Others should be lived.
