I volunteered all weekend, driving down from SF to support my local affiliate and the people competing and I was willing to give my free time to ensure the continued success of CF as it grows. If you can consider that your $$ supports the same endeavor maybe we can just move on from this and not worry about what you're being refunded or whether or not you'll be refunded.

The Organizers should have put the community first too. The "triplet" (thruster/kb/swing) was held on the beach volleyball court. The just threw stall mats down on the sand and went for it.

Just caught wind of a lawsuit against HQ. Apparently a dude that owns an affiliate or two (in one of the Carolinas) is suing Couch. Seems that Couch signed an agreement not to open another affiliate within x miles of this one. Fast forward a couple years and affiliates are sprouting up like polyps in Barry Cooper's colon.

It's supposedly headed to trial, which means it's been brewing for at least a year and a half. Anyone have a bead on this?

Since the placing or time it took you to run 800 meters was irrelevant and the number of squats you did was all that counted, there was some poor strategy going on.

It's the North Carolina former Crossfit now known as Forge Fitness. The same place where that video beatdown of that street tough happened. I heard about it too through the grapevine. Glassman claimed that the affiliate only had an exclusivity for 1 year.

I don't know the dynamics behind MMA type dojos or fighting schools, is that sort of "greenlighting" thing common? I find that kind of sleazy and unclassy.

I met the owners of the place a few years ago at one of Ethan Reeve's seminars. The Culbreth guy seemed pretty nice and invited me out to his place but I never went. I thought he was a chiro or something but it's not listed under his qualifications.

There are @fits springing up all over the place around here. Sickening.

Two Jasons owned CFNC. The chiropractor, who is nice, sold out in 2008. Culbreth, not a chiropractor, not so nice.
