IGx has been painfully slow throughout this afternoon and evening: ~3-8 PM EST.

And google is still busy indexing the FSF.

Dunno if it is all the new lurkers, but there are a lot time out and too many connection errors lately. Also the lag appears to be growing stronger as well.

Andy hasn't been posting too much lately, or you would be catching hell. He definitely would have lost at least one post by now.

Mario for real. Shit is starting to lag frequently around here and it is not uncommon to get SQL 1040 errors.

What is going on? I can't believe it is the increase in simultaneous users. What else is going on with the server?

I will check it Norman , there are times where the server takes snapshot backups so that
may be causing the lag. Will let you know.

What in the motherfucking hell is wrong with this God damn site?! It is always running slow as shit and I get General Error quite a bit. Is it my fucking computer? Jesus Christ I am fucking pissed.

Mickey see my complaint above.

Mario, if there some intensive background process running that causes the server lag and 1040 errors, it certainly does so at an inopportune time. Usually between 16-19 EST.
