MILO subscription-electronic version

Post by dogchild »

This review is independent of the content of the magazines and is specifically about the electronic version.

1. You have to log in to this website to read your magazine. I thought this was lame, so I went to "print preview" and used the firefox add in "down them all" to download all of the images from the page. Finally, I stitched them together and converted them to pdf using imagemagick. http://www.imagemagick.org/script/index.php
Now I can read them on the can on my phone or wherever I happen to be without a net connection.

2. They have now eliminated being able to print from the website, so I can't use this workaround any more. I am going to cancel my subscription.

DRM ruins it for me again.

Strossen is fucking terrified someone, somewhere, won't pay. It keeps him in bucks for his muscle man photo ops.

They just e-mail me a link. I also give the sub a thumbs fucking down. And twice I had to request a link because they didn't send me anything (also, when I had a print sub they would not send me anything unless I got on them).

What gay ass faggots.
