Westside Barbell Methodology Paying Dividends Already
When Glenn and I decided to embrace Westside methodology we approached it from the perspective of making our athletes stonger and there's no doubt that that is happening. However the a very important side benefit of going"Westside" and buying a lot of the equipment Louie Simmons uses is from a rehab point of view. We have several athletes here who are dealing with injuries both old and new. Two pieces of equipment in particular and the Westside methodology are proving very helpful in this regard. The Reverse Hyper (Louie Simmons created it to rehab his broken back) and the Monolift(a staple of power lifting gyms that makes heavy squatting much safer) are helping heal our atlhetes. If you have ever dealt with lower back pain,disc issues or just a weak posterior chain then these pieces of equipment can prove indespensable. Pictured below is John Mcdermott using Louies overspeed eccentric principles in conjuction with the Monolift to help strengthen his posterior chain and just get stronger in general.

I just threw up in my mouth. I blame Wendler and Tate. They sold them the monolift and they took the order. I am all for someone making money off of these fit-tards but someone has to have some ethics.

Good for Wendler and Tate. This is no different from selling exotic sportscars to shitty driving douchenozzles whose only qualification is being able to afford one. The guys at Elite have bills to pay, you know.
