Most women are innately socialists. Give them political power and they'll try to mother everybody "to keep them safe" and tell them what to do. Prohibition and the nanny state are inevitable when you give the mob the vote and slightly more than half the mob is Y-chromosome-challenged.

Mind you, the nanny state can come about other ways and I think democracy is just mob rule and a bad idea anyway. Any voting ought only to be done by landholding males. I'd say only those landholding males of the ethnic majority, but an ideal society is ethnically homogeneous so that would be redundant.

I don't feel like going after @F much anymore. Apathy towards the whole scene reigns. Glassman has fucked his life up, proving that money and company can corrupt even high ideals. If he was a benevolent mentor type person, I could have had the first or second affiliate in my state, but he decided to engage in a penchant for character assassination.

It's ironic when I talk to @Fers nowadays, and they don't know fuck all about what actually goes on, and are always surprised when I know more about it than they do.

I'm getting more apathetic as time goes on. That said, I actually did co-open the first affiliate in my state, so I guess my bitterness runs a bit deeper.

And it looks like I was right. Looking at BMacNCheeze's facebook post, he did ONE climb and seriously over-exaggerating shit by putting down 3,000 ft of climbing (it's 2,800 ft for that trail, nice try) but trying to confuse the crap out of people by putting down the peak at 9,300 ft. So much for "4 up, 4 down".

But, you see, I'm training for my marathon with short bursts of intense rage followed by longer periods of self-flagellation and self-doubt. I am hypothesizing that this is superior to overall volume. My "failure" is not a DNF so much as simply another step in my training program, the completion of which is a continuous work in progress.

I wonder what she looked like before she got married and had kids. She's acting a bit like the ugly ducking that the tooth fairy made pretty. I complement her on her transformation but I would wager she's fucking insufferable to be around if you're not on her wavelength on the food/@fit radar. Oh well, she could still be heavy and insufferable. Obviously humility is not something she's interested in right now.
